Slovenia Cleanup Pipeline — Stage 4 Review

Tier 1: 0 (math+AWS+Gemini all say "different") Tier 2: 0 (2/3 agree) Tier 3: 17 (only math; AWS+Gemini say "same")

Pipeline outcome

After all prior cleanup passes (lap/IQA filters, AWS audit cleanup, Gemini pass 1 + 2, name canonicalization), the cleanup pipeline scanned all 25,603 Slovenia photos at d > 0.55 threshold and found 17 outliers.

Each outlier was cross-validated with AWS CompareFaces (vs top-3 references) and Gemini relational comparison.

All 17 outliers came back as Tier 3 — math flagged them, but BOTH AWS and Gemini confirm same person.

This means the math identified photos far from the bucket's centroid, but they ARE the right person — typically because the bucket has photos from different time periods, lighting, or because the bucket recently absorbed photos from a merged/renamed declension variant. These should be kept.

Conclusion: Slovenia DB is essentially clean at d > 0.55. No new deletions warranted.
